WHY AM I BEING FORCED TO  UPGRADE TO THIS STATUS?

You may be able to use TurboTax Free File Program is geared towards lower-income filers, regardless of tax return complexity, and is only offered through the IRS Free File Alliance (FFA) program. No upgrades are available.

Schedule 3 is for nonrefundable credits you qualify for, like:

  • Foreign tax credit.
  • Credit for child and dependent care expenses
  • Education credits from Form 8863, line 19
  • Retirement savings contributions credit. Attach Form 8880 
  • Residential energy credit. Attach Form 5695
  • Other credits from Form a 3800 b 8801 c
