I believe my taxes was filed but I'm not sure. And I'm needed to check and see if they was filed or not
@Bvvrlybelle
First please make sure you are logged with the correct USER ID in your TurboTax account.
Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information:
Once you have logged into the correct TurboTax account please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information on how to access a prior year's tax return.
If you did not file with TurboTax in 2018 the IRS allows you to obtain a free tax transcript online and you can usually get it the same day.
I have an order receipt $150 from turbo tax but did you file the returns to the IRS agency?
If you are not sure if you e-filed, please verify it through the link.
Only the IRS can tell you. IRS Where's my refund https://www.irs.gov/refunds/
Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual federal tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end. That was for federal and state combined.
Was your return Accepted? You can check your efile status here
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.
When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. what does it say?
There may be numerous reasons why you have not yet received your stimulus payment, the most common reason being that the IRS has not yet processed your 2019 tax return.
Please read this IRS FAQ for more information.
I'm trying to find out if my 2019 taxes has been filed my CPA is telling me that he filed them but I haven't heard anything and they was filed Wayback in April
Ask the CPA for the form 9325 confirming the date filed & acceptance.
Did not complete my filing of taxes for 2020 through TurboTax is tax been filed, completed and submitted?
It depends. Since you did not complete your filing with Turbo Tax, you can log in here to periodically check your refund status. Whoever you filed with should inform you if the return has been accepted. For an example, if you would have filed with TT, your landing page that you log into will give you a status of accepted, pending or rejected. If it has been accepted, it means it it has been submitted and accepted by the IRS.
Phone call. Please call. [phone number removed]
Please don't post PII on this public forum ... no one legitimate will ever call you from here.
You can post a complete question on this site if you wish or call TT support directly :

The status for your tax return on the TurboTax Tax Home web page will remain as Accepted if the tax return has been accepted by the tax authority, federal or state. Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
If over 21 days since being Accepted by the IRS and the tax refund is still Processing you can call the IRS and speak with an IRS agent concerning your tax refund.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?
