To finish filing your 2018 return in TurboTax Online, sign into your account and click the Take me to my return button. From here you can do whatever you need to do to finish filing your return.
I’m not seeing this take me to my return. Please help me.
@caroleboese Can you ask this question from the homepage so we can address your issue in a new thread? Thank you.
Are you all using the Online version or is anyone using the Desktop program?
for Online.....That's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/
Then Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.
Do you need to file a 2018 return?
Sorry, Online for 2018 is closed now so you can not start a new 2018 return or finish one. Online is only for 2019. Oct 15, 2019 was the last day to efile. 2018 is now the prior year.

You can only buy the download for prior years. You have to buy a separate program for each year. They only sell the last 3 years. You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install it on. Buy the download here

You have to print and mail prior year returns. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.
Important! Mail Federal and State in separate envelopes and mail each year in separate envelopes.
If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. You have 3 years to file for a refund. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.

It keeps taking me to 2019 return that was rejected after doing it today due to 2018's AGI not matching up. I discontinued return because I was owing.
What do you mean by "discontinued" your return? Did you clear and start over?
Which return did you "discontinue"? If you didn't file your 2018 return then enter 0 for the AGI to efile 2019.
I need to retrieve my online 2018 turbotax file and finish filing the return. How do I access my 2018 online saved file?

See this TurboTax support FAQ for completing a 2018 tax return originally started with the online editions - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-finish-a-prior-year-return-that-i-started-in-turbotax-online/00/26322
I signed into turbotax but don't see "take me to my return button", where do I find the button?

There is not a "take me to my return" when accessing the 2018 online tax return. The 2018 online editions closed down after October 15, 2019.
Follow the instructions as shown the TurboTax support FAQ to download the 2018 tax data file.
Please follow the instructions below to help fix your rejected return.
So I started my 2018 tax return on turbo tax and cannot access it to finish it. It is downloadable but acts as if it was filed - which it never was. How can i access it abd edit it and finish it - without having to start all over again?

Why do I have to pay to download something I already paid for when I started the return? Could you be any more crooked than to charge twice for the same item? What is up with this? Does the IRS know you maintain this practice?
If you already paid for the Online version ask them for the download Desktop program.
