Does TurboTax not save previous returns to your account? I filed with TT last year and my return info is not pulling up.

If you start your 2020 return using exactly the same account and user ID you can transfer the 2019 data over and save yourself some work.   But you have to do that before you start on the 2020 return.

 

 

 

Is it asking for your 2019 AGI?  Look on line 8b of your Form 1040.

 

  You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !

 

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records.  That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

how can i get a copy of my 2019 tax return from turbo tax.  i need the agi from last year

You need your 2019 AGI to efile 2020. The AGI is on 2019 1040 line 8b. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

If you didn't file 2019 or filed it later in the year then try entering 0 for the AGI. If that doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.
