Is Tax Act 152 the same as the path act message? i keep reading people are getting the path act message. I have tax topic 152, no bars, and no refund amount. I also have a message that says, "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available."

No, Tax Topic 152 is generic payout information generally seen if you have chosen direct deposit of your funds. Your message simply means you are being processed. Attached is what the PATH message looks like

Hi everyone, so depending on how you file or what you claim, some peoples wmr updates daily, others like myself only updates on Saturdays, once a week. Mine was that way because I file with a pin. I filed on 2/3, got updated last Saturday on 2/18, have a ddd of 2/23 going directly into my bank acct. No card or anything and I paid my accountant up front so no fees being taken out. I hope this helps. Think positive.

It's true, and holding for a tax advocate to see if there's any issues or other delays holding up my refund.

@moda16 how do you know if you filed with a pin? I filed on 2/11 and it still say processing on the WMR site. My daughter filed also on 2/11 and had the EIC and ACTC and has received her refund on 2/22. I used TT and she used a tax accountant.

@dvaughn0619 I know i filed with an IP Pin because of identity theft. Been filing with a pin for last 5 years. Tax topic just means your getting a refund. Other things come into play though on your taxes. As I stated earlier, some peoples wmr will update daily and other just once a week, Friday nite after midnight into saturday morning. I had conversations with @fitzrich17 who is an irs supervisor for the last 11 years and they explained it to me. If you scroll further up in the conversations, you can see the conversation I had with them. It was around last week, Wednesday or Thursday. And sure enough, Saturday morning it went from processing to approved with a ddd. So, if you don't see it before Saturday, then you should see an update on Saturday morning neaning you are a once a weeker. If nothing by Saturday, I would give the irs a call. Hope this helps. I did not have any of the eitc or the other one.

Hey all here just wanted to say I was in same boat as all of you reading these messages with anxiety growing by post just remember most people on here commenting are already all worked up so it will just feed into your paranoia like it did mine =( anyways point is I never had a pin and my WMR did not update unyill last Saturday so i would assume you all are all ok and maybe even already approved just waiting for Saturday morning to get a little reassurance. Be patient till then and know you will see results Saturday

Also i filed 2/4 with eic and have a DDD of 2/23 and my ex filed 1/20 and still does not have a DDD but Lady at Irs told her she was approve and waiting on DDD prob on Saturday and she used hr block and I used TTax son think it's just luck. This new method does stink though and hope they make adjustments for future but untill then keep the faith and good news awaits you all Saturday !!!!

@moda16 Thank you. I did see that and just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything I was missing or had done wrong. I will wait till Saturday and if nothing by then I will contact IRS. Thanks again.

Anyone get an update on their taxes who filled the week of March. 20th? I'm still getting the 152 code. I check everyday. The bars on WMR have not moved to approved status
