Is Tax Act 152 the same as the path act message? i keep reading people are getting the path act message. I have tax topic 152, no bars, and no refund amount. I also have a message that says, "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available."

No, Tax Topic 152 is generic payout information generally seen if you have chosen direct deposit of your funds. Your message simply means you are being processed. Attached is what the PATH message looks like

I call the the IRS yesterday at 1-800-829-1040 three X yesterday the first rep stated I was picked for a random review and may not see my refund on or before March 14, 2017. Then the 2nd and 3rd person said it was completed processing but to just keep checking for any updates on WMR and most refunds will be issued the week of Feb 27th. Our refunds are being reviewed but it doesn't mean their being audited. However, the only time to worry if you receive a letter from the IRS.

I havent recieved a letter.. and when I call I only get the recordings. I cant speak with an rep.

I haven't received any letter nether. The reps yesterday couldn't see anything wrong with my return it's completed the processing steps they just need to release the funds

I know my husband and I talked about this we shouldn't count on our return orcas a source of income we just wanted to pay off s few high interest credits cards and gr out our backyard fixed for this year.

This is crazy how they are doing people unlike others I need my money. They say there's nothing wrong with my taxes there just STILL being processed they need to come up with a better system cause this one isn't working then they make all these so called fraud prevention rules when clearly they haven't thought this out that well

Now that's a exciting and wonderful reason. Instead of hearing people state their facing eviction that's ridiculous. I understand emergencies happen like one story involving a women escaping her abusing husband I know I once was there years ago. I commend her for leaving the guy.
