Cross River Bank has my refund

The direct deposit info I listed in my tax return was for a closed account. I opted for “pay with refund” and “5 day early”. I called IRS and they provided account and routing number for cross river, confirming that’s where my return was sent. Cross River/Turbo tried to deposit funds in my account on 2/19 but my bank rejected and sent back 2/23 since the account was closed. Will I be receiving a check from Cross River or the IRS? It’s is now 3/7, and Turbo tax status shows as refund “pending”.

Any update? I just sat on hold with IRS for 2h and they said the review is actually a 90day review, even tho 60day review has been lasted on WMR for a while now. 90 day review started 5/29 and they already have my refund back.. smh. She told me that the 90days is up at the end of August and call back then if I still don’t have refund. Hopefully it comes before then. It’s been about a month since my transcript updated to show 720 code

I have been a turbo tax user for many years with no problems. Now I’m still waiting for my refund. All turbo Tax would go for me is to ask the IRS to reissue my refund and gave me the IRS Customer Service number. Will not be using Turbo Tax ever again
