Due to an error affecting some uploaded 1095-As, some TurboTax customers might have incorrect information listed in TurboTax. The issue isn’t with the form itself, just the data TurboTax received during the upload.

If we contacted you, you’ll need to review and re-enter your form 1095-A entries to make sure you file with the correct information on your return.

To correct your return, please follow the steps below:

  • Locate the Federal section of your return

  • Find the Deductions and Credits section

  • Select Health Insurance Marketplace (1095-A), or locate it under the Medical section

  • Select Edit

  • Delete all 1095-A forms from the return

To re-add your form(s) 1095-A:

  • Select Add a 1095-A

  • Follow the directions to manually add the form

  • Complete all questions in the interview flow
