Why am I getting a repeated error on my Minnesota Property Tax Statement?
If you’re filing a Minnesota state return and keep getting the same error when you try to e-file, your Property Tax ID might contain a dash, space, or special character that’s causing the issue.
How to fix this error
Go to your Minnesota state return.
Go through the state return until you get to the Property Tax Statement section.
Clear/remove the Property Tax ID.
Re-enter your Property Tax ID using only numbers and letters—no dashes, spaces, or special characters.
Continue through your return, clear any remaining errors, and transmit.
Once the ID is entered without special characters, you should be able to e-file without getting stuck.
