I have over 40 years of experience in the accounting and tax profession. Upon graduation, I worked with EY in Memphis in the audit, tax and consulting departments. After law school, I became the CFO, COO and CEO of the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra. After that I became the head of internal audit, regional controller, divisional controller, and finally corporate controller for a publicly traded international hospitality conglomerate. While working overseas I became an accidental professional soccer player and also became a member of one of the most popular bands in the southern Caribbean, Venezuela and Colombia. I then became the managing partner of the corporate practice of a local CPA firm in Atlanta. I left to partner with a friend/client in a renewable energy startup. I still have a small CPA practice in Georgia while being CFO of the renewabe energy company and CFO of a TV/movie production company. I hold the CPA. CGMA, CIA and CMA designations.
