To resolve issues importing Form 4835 (farm rental) data from Quicken to TurboTax, export the data specifically as a Tax Export File (TXF) by going to Reports > Tax Export File in Quicken. Alternatively, use File > File Import > QXF to move data, ensuring the file is not locked or damaged.

I don't want to use .TXF, I want to import from Quicken, like the instructions tell me, and when I do that all I get is "nothing to import" despite having tagged dozens of entries as "4835:xxx"  Ended up putting all the numbers in myself, and then it appears TT double-counts that farm rental income!
