Should I have received a Schedule EIC (line 18A) Form from TurboTax? My 2019 mail-in return was rejected because it didn't have it.

The exact wording was "Complete Schedule EIC to support your entry on line 18a of form 1040".

Thanks!

Did you mail your tax return but leave out the EIC form that was supposed to be included with the Form 1040?  It sounds like you entered information to get earned income credit that is being shown on line 18a but did not include the form when you printed and mailed your tax return.   Print the return again and this time make sure you include that form t mail back to the IRS with your tax return forms.

Mailed returns are taking a very long time for processing, so use a mailing service like certified mail to know that they received it when you mail it again.  Read the mailing instructions carefully and make sure you are including everything you are supposed to include.

Do you know how to access your account again?

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

Thank you for your in-depth reply, @xmasbaby0

I'm able to log in to my TurboTax account. I double checked what the IRS returned as well as what TurboTax had me print out and there was no EIC form included with what TurboTax wants me to mail them.

Going back on the website, TurboTax asks fairly obvious questions such as "Did I live in the US for more than six months this year" that I answered truthfully.

I don't have any children or dependents so there was nothing for me to fill out on the EIC forms I'd found online.

Should I change my filing to not have the Earned Income Credit or is there a way to request the form from TurboTax?

Thank you for your time!

Not sure what is going on--if you are under 25 and have no dependent children you cannot get earned income credit.  If you are 25 or older you MIGHT be able to get earned income credit if your income was low enough and you are not someone else's dependent.  Was there anything on line 18a of your Form 1040?

Thank you @xmasbaby0 for replying so quickly!

There was an amount on 18a on the form TurboTax gave me to mail in.

Not to give out too much personal info but I'm over 25 and had a business where I grossed a lot but after deductions made next to nothing.

Thanks!
