To clarify, what are you referring to or an address? Is this referring to the distribution code in Box 7 of a 1099R?

Dave,

            I am referring to G or T in the mass pension edits 

                   fed govt pension is 'g'

                   Thrift Savings plan is taxed in mass on distributions, per mass tax site, hence 'T' 

              I was able show the relevant form and fix the thrift saving plan code to 'T from its default of 'G'.
