Line 1 on my return is blank

Is this normal? Or did something get messed up?

A blank line 1 on your Form 1040 means you did not enter a W-2. What income did you enter?

It depends. If you did not receive a W2 from wages earned as an employee, then your line 1 of your 1040 should be blank. If you did receive one, then it should not be blank so you would need to revisit your entries in TurboTax.
