If I paid for basic help with TurboTax and haven't received any of the help I need, How can I stop TurboTax from taking from my return?

It looks like you asked a question in June about how to file with self-employment income and received a reply that explained how to use Free File ----did you not qualify?   What software did you use that did not provide help---and what help did you seek?   We do not see any other questions posted here in the user forum from you.   Did you try to get help from customer support?

Did you e-file your return yet?  Or pay?

If you qualify to use it, there is another full-featured free version of the software:

Try Free File:

You qualify if your income was $39,000 or less, or $72,000 or less if active duty military, or if you qualify for Earned Income Credit

Note:  If you do not qualify to use Free File then you will have to upgrade to Deluxe or higher in the paid versions of the software.

Online Deluxe $60  State software $50

Or—-Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons:
