When your e-filed tax return is rejected by the IRS you received an email from TurboTax that has the rejection code and rejection message. What does it say on the email?
This reject usually happens when your return is missing Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement.
When something is missing or mismatched, your return gets rejected.
If you don't have form 1095-A, sign in to your healthcare.gov account and download it.
If you have your 1095-A, please revisit Deductions & Credits section,
Scroll down to Medical and select Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A).
Answer the questions and continue through to enter the details from your Form 1095-A.
When you're done, continue through to refile your return.
