I have chosen to do the refund advance method. It was approved. It takes me through the same steps over and over!
This was posted earlier And it worked for me too!
SO after many days of fighting with the loop I finally figured it out...
You email used for Turbo must be the same as the email used to log into credit Karma.
SO what I did was...
1.) Went to Credit Karma website I unlinked the Turbo account.
2.) Went to Turbo website and updated my email address to the same as my email address for Credit Karma (which I had set up long before turbo linked up with credit Karma)
3.) signed out and back into Turbo and low and behold it went right through.
Dont know if each step was 100% needed but it worked for me in that way so I figured I would let yall know.
Hopefully none of you followed the advice of the "professionals" and just went ahead with the direct deposit like I was told to do by MULTIPLE of them.
The message means that something changed, and your return cannot be e-filed now. Go back to the Review tab and run review to see what happened and what needs to be fixed. Often this is due to a form not being ready.
Did you all ready efile the return and then came back to make changes ? Is the filing status still pending ?
I reviewed everything and nothing needed to be changed. It did not say anything about any forms not being available yet either.
Return to the REVIEW tab ... something must be stopping you from efiling if you have not yet efiled.

I keep getting the same thing. Any solution yet?

@BrandiLO1 I have contacted support 4 separate times now and they tell me to either try again later or wait and try after the 24th when the IRS is accepting. I have a feeling it still will not work after the 24th.
I have escalated this issue. If you still have this issue on or after the 24th, please message us back.
It’s the 24th and I am still having the same issue. Trying for an advance refund and it just keeps telling me I need to choose another method.
I called and spoke to a rep and she had no clue as of what to tell me! Smh I may file elsewhere this year!!!
@JS83 @Yes! I just spent an hour on the phone and got no where. I’ve used turbo tax for over 10 years and I think it’s time to go somewhere else. Very frustrating.
Yeah I basically got the same response, unreal. I’ve been filing with them since 2011. I’m about to go somewhere else as well though, I don’t usually get the advance but definitely need it this year.
There are situations where there is nothing else that a taxpayer can do to complete their return and efile. Some of the reasons that prevent a return from being efiled include the following:
In addition, certain returns keep getting rejected because somebody else already claimed a dependent on the return or because of incorrect information in the IRS database. In these cases, there's really nothing you can do to "fix" your return so you can e-file it. For this year at least, it appears you may have to file a paper return instead.
Yep, our situation definitely doesn’t apply there unless someone my wife and I don’t know is trying to fraudulently claim one of our six dependents.
this is a TurboTax Refund advance Issue. Because if you choose one of the other two options, transmit options come up. This has to be a TT issue
None of those issues apply to my return and I continue getting this message. So this seems to really just be a Turbo Tax issue and I’ll just be filing else where this year.
We have received reports on this and we are working for a resolution. We thank you for your patience. Please check back again soon or reach out directly here for further assistance.

Ok so I have used turbo tax for 9 years now, however this is my first time doing tax advance. I followed the links for the tax advance through the TurboTax site was able to set up credit karma money account and filed on Friday 1/21/22. Taxes were accepted yesterday 1/24/22 but I still have not received the advance. No email stating approved or denied no nothing. What should I do?
Typically you will receive the Refund Advance funds within 48 hours of the federal return being accepted by the IRS. If it gets to a point beyond 48 hours since IRS acceptance and you have not received a denial email, please reach out to Credit Karma for assistance.
