How do I import 2019 data to my 2020 return?

You have to perform that transfer of data at the very beginning---before you enter any 2020 data.

If you used the TurboTax online editions for tax year 2019 then you need to sign onto the 2020 online account with the exact same User ID that you used for the 2019 online account so the 2019 tax data can transfer to the 2020 tax return.

So do I need to start all over?   the only reason that I have stuck with Turbo Tax desktop all these years is that I did not want to lose this data.   Turbo Tax says it imported it and it has my name and address but does not show any amounts from last year this year.   Help!!!!!!!!
