Enter the name from your current Social Security Card into your tax return. The IRS will be matching against the Social Security Administration data to verify the return.

To edit your name, click on My Info, on the left menu, and to the right of your name, click on the icon of the blue pencil. This will open the screen to edit your name or other personal information.

Make any changes and be sure to Continue until the section completes and the changes are saved.
