Double billing I had the cd then bill me for the down load

What the hell is a tax I’d # I had the cd then you bill again for the down load. 69$. I am a a 9 year customer and it took. 8 hour and my taxes are still not done.  What about some customers service

If you buy the CD you can also download the program.  Did you use the instructions in the box?  Or somehow people have ended up using the online web version instead of downloading the Desktop program.  If you used the online version you can download the .tax2019 data file without paying and continue in your Desktop program.

 

There should be a card in the CD case that says how to download it and you will need the 14 digit code from it to enter.

After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return .tax file is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW).

If you installed the 2019 TurboTax software using the CD, why would you need to download the one of the 2019 desktop editions since you already had the software installed?

 This is mainly user community forum.   It's not clear what all you have done.  If you had the CD, why did you also download the product?   Do you not have a CD drive on your computer?    Or did you use Online TurboTax by mistake instead of your software?
