Confusion on State and Local Tax Refund Summary

For my State and Local Tax Refund Summary in my 2022 tax return, Turbotax has logged 2021's state tax refund as I'll call it "A." However, on my tax return itself, Line 38 of my Form 500 has a completely different number labelled "B," and this number is also reflected in my tax center records. And on the day they sent my 2021 refund, I had 3 entirely different deposits in my bank account by the state with "C, D, and E," which do not seem to correlate with A and B at all.

So in my tax return, they are asking for my Georgia Refund amount in 2021. Which letter would I use for this situation? Thank you.

I would use the amount of what you actually received in hand in 2021 because that is what the state will have recorded on their end.  If C, D and E were all for your state tax refund then you must claim all together as being paid to you.

If you didn't Amend your state return, and you weren't notified by the State of a change to your tax filing, the number transferred from 2021 TurboTax should be correct.

You should have received a Form 1099-G from the state to report the amount on your 2022 return.  If you received multiple 1099-Gs for the same state or locality, both with the same tax year in box 3, enter the box 2 sum.

If you didn't receive a 1099-G, your state's tax center records should have the correct amount.

If you didn't itemize deductions in 2021, any state tax refund would not be taxable anyway; you are just reporting.

Here's more info on State Tax Refunds.
