For some unknown reason I was changing to e-file, then it said I already filed.

You can e-file your return, but ONLY if you have not mailed in your tax return to the IRS. As long as you have not mailed the return, you can still change and e-file your return by following these instructions: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5561257
