Hi
TurboTax Deluxe Desktop on Win 10
Clicking Ctrl+I on a numeric/amount field does not open Supporting Details
I have to go thru the menu and select: Edit > Add Supporting Details, for the Supporting Details dialog to open
If I remember correctly, the 2023 version had this issue too
Did this break? Is it a bug?
TIA
Nick

I am also seeing that the right-clicking on a numeric field in TurboTax Desktop still brings up the list of options, but won't select Add Supporting Details or Ctrl+I, except in a worksheet that also provides a written explanation line.
I am reporting this issue for further investigation.
In Windows Desktop Deluxe Step-by-Step mode, some fields support Ctrl+I and some do not. Also, I have not found any fields that support double-clicking to bring up details as in prior years of TT. This is a step backwards.
However, in Forms mode all fields seem to support both Ctrl+I and double-clicking.
Please be consistent Intuit.

This usually happens in any interview area that has most recently been rewritten by the software engineers.
It seems, either the software managers "appear" to be:
A) ignoring the issue?
B) ignorant that the supporting details options even exist?
or
C) perhaps the new underlying program software just cannot implement/enable the Supporting Details worksheets when the user is in the "interview".
Certainly, I can still use any of the SD shortcuts on any editable fields, in Forms Mode, since the underlying worksheets have not changed in any significant manner.
Same problem here.
Windows 11, fully up-to-date
TurboTax 2025, fully up-to-date
I primarily use this for donations, property taxes, etc., anything where I want to record the details of a payment or donation.
Ctrl-I doesn't work.
double-click doesn't work.
Edit/Add Supporting Details doesn't work.
That's in Step-By-Step.
Not being able to select "add supporting details" in FORMS either.
If your Add Supporting documents does not work, some users have reported the steps listed below as solving the issue:
