My tax return was filed at the beginning of Feb. 2020 for 2019 through Turbo Tax and my adjusted gross income was 69,814. I received only $555 for my stimulus check. I cannot contact the IRS because they are not accepting phone calls. There is no option to register my problem with them. What do I do?

Call the news station and the Goveners office. That’s what I did. If they get enough complaints, maybe they’ll do something about it quickly.

Mine is wrong too. I am married filing jointly with three dependents 6 years old and under. All three were claimed for both 2018 and 2019 but I still ended up receiving only 3400 instead of 3900. Will I be receiving that additional 500 or not?

Seems like I am not the only one in this boat. Just like many others who have commented my deposit was short 1 dependent. I am married we filed jointly and have 3 kids ages 3, 7, & 8 all of which I have claimed as dependents since they were born. I received a deposit this morning of $3400 instead of the $3900 I should have received. While very grateful for any help we have received these payments are based on need, and obviously someone with 3 dependents would require more than someone with 2. I find it very frustrating that there is absolutely zero information out there about what to do.

Same here. Filed jointly with my wife this year with one dependent. She received $1200 in her bank account she filed her 2018 taxes with, and we received nothing for my daughter and I. Used their new app to track mine and it doesn’t exist.

I received stimulus based on my 2018 return and 2019 was filed in Jan and refund received in January. I had 3 dependents on 2019 and only 1 in 2018. How to you inquiry or who can you ask?

Same. We didnt recieve for our children, we only got 2,400 for filling jointly with AGI of $88,600 and we have 3 kids.

For security reasons, the IRS plans to mail a letter about the economic impact payment to the taxpayer’s last known address within 15 days after the payment is paid. The letter will provide information on how the payment was made and how to report any failure to receive the payment.

We received our stimulus check also. It was correct but didn't receive the $500 for my grandaughter we have had custody for the last 9 yrs. We claim her every year.

My daughter turned 17 in 2019 and we claimed her as a dependent on our 2019 return. Shouldn’t we be getting $500 for her?
