Issue with Form 4547
There is an issue with form 4547 in the Desktop version of TT. In the signature field it puts the zip code of the taxpayer. It also completes the address fields even if you check the box that the address is the same as the address used to file. When I filed the 4547 with my son in law’s and daughter’s tax return which I had completed for her, even though the rest of the return was accepted, the IRS sent a letter saying that the 4547 was illegible or had incorrect information. It would be nice to be able to report these issues without having to make a phone call to Intuit.
