Do I have to enter a scholarship I received?

I have a full scholarship. I did not receive a 1098-T from the school. Do I need to list the scholarship?

Q. I have a full scholarship. I did not receive a 1098-T from the school. Do I need to report the scholarship?

A. Yes, probably. Particularly, if it covered room & board, as most "full scholarships" do.

 

But it is unusual that you did not get a 1098-T, in that situation.  You should ask why. Many schools no longer mail out the 1098-T.  You obtain it from your school account, on line.
