$1200 Stimulus; 2019 AGI Less than 2018

I haven't filed my 2019 taxes yet.

With my 2019 AGI, I would qualify my wife and I for the stimulus check $1,200 x 2

With my 2018 AGI, I would NOT receive any stimulus check.

* Until when do I have to file my 2019 taxes to be eligible for the greater stimulus check?

So your Adjusted Gross Income in 2018 was greater than $198,000 and your Adjusted Gross Income in 2019 is going to be $150,000 or less?

Single adults with Social Security numbers who have an adjusted gross income of $75,000 or less will get the full amount. Married couples with no children earning $150,000 or less will receive a total of $2,400. And taxpayers filing as head of household will get the full payment if they earned $112,500 or less.

Above those income figures, the payment decreases until it stops altogether for single people earning $99,000 or married people who have no children and earn $198,000. According to the Senate Finance Committee, a family with two children will no longer be eligible for any payments if its income surpassed $218,000.

Same situation for me, 2019 AGI lower than 2018 and would allow us to qualify for stimulus. I just filed 2019 taxes this past Saturday, any way to have IRS apply this new AGI??? Could not find any way to contact them.

I have this same situation due to retiring in 2018. From what I heard last week, if you have not filed your 2019 tax return, the IRS will use your 2018 AGI to calculate the amount of your check. I was holding off filing since I owed money. When I heard this I immediately filed and the IRS accepted my return. This was 2 days before the bill was signed, so I think I am good.
