I have three times tried to fix, using TT, a rejected return without success. The email says, "IND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or self-select PIN from last year do not match IRS records." According to every record I have, including last year's return in TT and previous years' returns for PIN accuracy, there is no mistake on my part. The TT option is to file through the mail at cost to me. This is frustrating because one of the best reasons to use TT Deluxe is that e-filing is free for federal returns. Another reason is that the file shows accurate data that I verified several times. What are my options?
When did you file 2019? If it was late in the year or you mailed it, try putting in 0 (zero) for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-getting-an-e-file-reject/00/27031

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Try to enter zero.

I did try to use 0 as an entry, but TT would not accept that. In accordance with the TT instruction, I also tried to fill with nothing but zeroes, i.e., 000000, but it would not accept that either.
