I filed my taxes and upon downloading my tax return, it only has the state return information. I am missing the federal return/1040 from the report. My current status is that the federal tax return has been accepted. I have used Turbotax before and was always provided both the federal and state return immediately after filing. Is this a technical error? How do I retrieve my 1040?

Try this -
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

It worked, thanks so much DoninGA! I remember seeing my 1040 before I clicked submit and was so confused why it did not show up on my return. Really appreciate it 🙂
