I have amended

I have an amended tax refund and it has been over 20 weeks they had said it was being processed and now I have gotten a text saying that it hasn't been processed and it has been over 20 weeks and I've called the number provided and still not getting anything except check with the IRS where's my amended tax refund, does anyone know what is going on?

It is not unusual for amended returns to take 6-9 months to process.

The average right now is 10 months for an amended return to process... hang in there and check the IRS site once a week.

Maybe once a week after Valentine's Day.

Even after marking the amendment completed that are still delaying the refund checks.
