I filed my taxes on January 23rd. It was accepted two days later. Irs website said there is no information on me. What is the problem?

Is the irs website where's my refund working?

If you get a refund, the status would usually appear by now.

Since the IRS has a big backlog of unprocessed returns, expect delays.

@kimmy757  Hundreds of us with issues that we’ve been trying to resolve for a week but no solution or answers.

Wen the IRS accepts your return, it just means they have verified the name and social security number match. Therefore the return will not be processed into the system yet.

 It can take anywhere from a few days to three weeks to go from acceptance to approval. More details have been provided for you by clicking here

@LindseyLO   I believe that we are referring to two separate topics. Yes, I understand that it will change to approved by the IRS once they approve it. We are all referring to the refund advance. That is supposed to go through once we’re “accepted” by the IRS. Many of us have been told we didn’t apply for the advance, yet it’s on our PDF file from TT. We have all been given the runaround. After spending hours upon hours on the phone, I personally reached out to corporate and was told that it was denied, but FCB has no record of my information so it’s impossible to be “denied” if they didn’t send my information. I’ve requested a document from TT showing that I was denied so that we could conclude this back & forth, but they won’t even respond at this point because they know that they’re lying. It’s one thing to have a system error/glitch, but lying about it is a whole other issue. It’s terrible business ethic and completely unnecessary.

The Refund Advance application is with Credit Karma and any information on why you were denied would need to be provided by them.

@MichelleLO @LindseyLO @kimmy757

That’s interesting because they said they’re just on the “receiving end” (see email directly from them)

@MichelleLO   Nothing has been resolved for any of us. We’ve all spent hours upon hours with TT, Credit Karma and First Century Bank.
