If you have not yet e-filed or mailed your tax return, you can go to the “File” section and enter/update your bank information.

Did you try reading the links provided in the thread you posted your question to? Return to your post, scroll up, and read. In order to set up direct deposit for your refund in the FILE section you will need your bank's routing number and your account number.
In the FILE tab step 2 the option to have a DD will be offered... where are you having trouble in that step?
@Roosterrebel44 If you have already filed your 2018 tax return you cannot change the method of receiving the tax refund.

Click on the File tab on the left side of the TurboTax 2018 online program screen.
This will help you determine the method you will be receiving your refund. These steps can not be performed on the TurboTax Mobile App, you will need to sign into your account at https://turbotax.intuit.com/ using the same login credentials you used on the app.

I wont be receiving any return money for 2019 tax year, however i need to file for direct deposit for the stimulus check that will be sent. I don't knowhow to enter my direct deposit information since Idon't get a refund this year.

Can you confirm that if you are eligible for the corona virus stimulus check and you filed your taxes through turbo tax for 2019/received your refund...that the IRS has the direct deposit information for the check?

@hwf There are some questions that can't be answered definitively at this time. We will update as the information becomes available from the government. If the government does distribute the money in this manner, it was stated they would pull your taxes and use the account you listed, so it would be pulled from your tax file, yes. I couldn't e-file. However with the stimulas it is saying to best serve us to hace a direct deposit set up. It didn't give me that option when I did my taxes. How can I add it to my tax information?

If you are not receiving a tax refund then there is no direct deposit information to enter.
No. Once you have submitted your return, you are unable to add direct deposit information.
