Government Confirmation of Identity

I e-filed my 2023 tax return prior to 15 Oct. It was rejected. Re-filed after verifying 2022 AGI and pin numbers were correct. Was again rejected before 15 Oct. Subsequently I realized that the IRS most likely hadn't processed my 2022 tax return, since I recently mailed it in late.  Is there another way that the IRS/TurboTax can confirm my identity without using the 2022 AGI? Perhaps using 2021 AGI or other means??

Thanks.

Hopeful

Try entering 0 for the AGI. The IRS might have processed your return later so the AGI didn't get entered in time.  Especially if you mailed it.  That works for most people. See,

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
