Can refunds come out same day approved?

I filed yesterday with turbo tax and the irs accepted my return within a HR or so.

Accepting a return is not the same as getting your refund.

the question was do they come out when approved. this is different than accepted.

Sure, they could.  And we could be invaded by little green men from Mars tomorrow also.  But I doubt both.

The IRS suggests that they make refunds available 2-3 weeks after accepting your return.  You can keep advised of their progress on the Where's My Refund? site on the IRS website at www.irs.gov.  That site is currently down but hopefully will be available soon.
