Hi,

I have filed my tax and received my refund.  I did not realize that I am able to contribute to Traditional IRA.  My wages is $13,500.  Can I re-file my taxes to reflect a maximum contribution of $6K?  I am single and below 40 years old.

Thanks,

IRA filer

    Probably not but maybe.

Any 2020 contribution must be accepted and posted by the financial institution by 6/17/2021.   Many financial institutions will take 3 business days to post the contribution which would  make it a 2021 contribution..

Ask your financial institution  if you can still do that.
