You sent me an email to confirm "your TurboTax Advantage subscription". The link to confirm it doesn't work. Was this email from you, and do I need to confirm my subscr

It is now too late to confirm an advantage account for the 2017 program ... if you do confirm it then it will be for the 2018 program that comes out in november next year.

How to cancel Turbo Tax Advantage:  

You can sign into your Turbo Tax Advantage account and under Your Product, select to Remove Product.  Once you remove the recurring product order, the Turbo Tax Advantage subscription will be cancelled as well.

I got the email.  However my credit card was compromized and has been canceled.  A new card is being sent to me.  I have also moved to California.  I don't need you to mail me CD.  I would like to just download it from my PC.  Thank you.  James Lamparter

This is a user community forum, not a direct route to Customer Support.   See this FAQ on how to update the info in your Advantage account (annual subscription) and to change your product preference to a download. 

 

You normally get a complimentary download even if you order a CD.  But the CD will always be Release 1, while the download installation file will be the most current revised release.   So if you don't need the CD, there's no reason to waste it, and you can switch to just a pure download as you indicated you desire.

What do you mean by "can't access?"  What/where is the roadblock?   Are you not able to find the 2020 software purchase in your account so you can download the product?    If that's the case, you may have multiple accounts without realizing it, and we can help you troubleshoot that once you fully explain what you mean.

 

Are you a TurboTax Advantage member with an annual subscription, or did you purchase 2020 TurboTax at the TurboTax website last November?  

Was your credit/debit card charged last November?   If so, try to find your purchased download here:

I do not know what or how I need to reply.  I am trying to comply with email instructions yesterday from turbotax specialist Juliet C.  I think I may call my bank and ask that they dispute the credit card charge from TurboTax.  I was trying to settle that matter without the dispute process.  BNWiles

No one in the user forum can call you or resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

I am not sure I understand your question.  I have been a long time user of turbo tax.  Last years return for 2020 I think was completed under a different log in.  I never received my CD for the 2020 return so I went on line and some how I got onto a different user name/account.  I never really understood what happened but I did get my taxes filed.  I did speak with someone at turbo tax and they said they would send me the CD for 2021.  I also think at one point recently I was asked to up date my payment information and I did do that.  So I think everything is okay now.  Thank you.  James [phone number removed]
