That is not even close to being true. Perhaps you just do not know enough people who used TT.
You are always going to find someone else whose refund arrived faster, and someone who waited even longer than you. That is the way it goes.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20a of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

I actually have came across a ton of Turbo Tax customers and they aren't getting any refunds
We are seeing plenty of users here who have received refunds, too. If you are subject to PATH, you just have to wait.
