Why is it charging me 50 dollars, I thought this service was free?? I didn't select any special upgrades or anything

Here is how to review your fees:

1. After signing in to TurboTax, open or continue your return.
2. Select Tax Tools on the left side of the screen and then Tools.
3. A Tools Center box will pop up on your screen.
4. Select the My Fees box on the right.

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons:

• Remove PLUS Help & Support
• Remove Pay With Your Refund
• Remove Premium Services
• Remove MAX
• Remove a state

I'm having the same concerns.  No upgrades or add ons.  Why the fees ???

You can see what you are being charged for. Click on Tax Tools from the Menu on the left side in your return. Click Tools then My Fees.
