Try logging out, closing out your browser, and coming back in. If that doesn't work I will recommend you clear your cache and cookies!

Can you try using a different browser? For example if you are on Internet Explorer, can you switch to Google Chrome?
You should clear your browser's cookies and cache. This may be the cause of your problem. If this does not resolve the issue post any additional information to this thread.

@LoriCrosby nope, no one would help me, they wanted to make me pay to get help.
I was forced to cancel everything and file with H&R Block. Soooo much better!
I will never use TurboTax again after this experience.
I too have tried all the suggestions, used turbo tax for at least the last 7years never had an issue but will probably figure use something else for next year. I need some real help to get my taxes filed.
That would be all fine and dandy if it actually began to work after 60-mins. It's been 3-days now, same error. When will this be fixed?
If you are stuck on a screen or it is blank in TurboTax you may need to log out and restart your computer, then log back in, or try another browser. Ensure you are hard-wired and not using Wifi. You may need to clear your cache and cookies.

I'm having the same problem. I am currently waiting 60 minutes to see if "something" frees up the process at Intuit. Tech support was polite, but we ran the the gambit of suggestions with no help or understanding of just want the problem truly is. I've used Turbo Tax for years, but I guess all good things come to an end. We will see in 60.
To clarify, just one quick question. Did you clear your cache, cookies, and browsing history from your browser?
Yes I cleared cache, restarted, tried a different browser, waited over 60 minutes as instructed by tech support. Both browsers Safari and Chrome failed with the same error.
Are you using the mobile app or are you on a Mac computer? Changing browsers may help as well.

@bobsully53 I waited over a month for help from tech support last year, no one could fix it at all (not that anyone tried very hard). I was unable to file and had to instead use H&R Block, where I have been very happy! I won’t even be trying TurboTax this year. Terrible experience!!
I’ve tried everything, multiple machines, my smartphone, clearing cookies/cache, customer service and tech support. It’s only happening when I select pay by credit card which makes me think their third party processor is having an issue. Funny, they processed my payment for turbotax with no problem. What’s really frustrating is that Turbotax has been so unhelpful and unforthcoming.
I am having the same issue. Support told me to try a different payment option but credit card is my only option. I have tried doing this for 4 days now with different computers, different browsers and have cleared everything out. I am getting highly highly frustrated. I need to pay for my federal soon as I have the means. Can someone PLEASE help
We cleared cache, cookies, and browsing history from the browsers, both Chrome and Safari. Support had me wait for 60 minutes which made no difference. Currently working on a refund and going the H&R Block route this time.
It appeared the file that I was working on for so many hours tonight has disappeared. How can I retrieve the file?
Are you using TurboTax Online or the CD/Download version?

I just downloaded state and getting the hmm message when I try to complete forms. I clicked on your link and it says page not there. What do I do??
If you are using TurboTax Online, please try logging completely out of the TurboTax website, then clear your browser's cache and delete cookies. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. If that doesn't work, try a different browser.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please provide the state you are filing in and the form you are completing when you get the error message.
Having the same issues with desktop software, uninstalled software twice, reinstalled wait hours still give me the same error just not help, seems is better to switch to H & R after many years using turbo tax
