Are you asking about a license code for TurboTax desktop?   Or are you trying to enter your driver's license to e-file?   You are not required to provide your driver license information to e-file your federal return.   You can skip past that request.

I had this problem after I purchased the desktop software. I went to the website and logged in using my previous credentials and started my return. I found nowhere to enter my license code. Then I saw someone else's comment and found my mistake. I had downloaded the TurboTax software and should have been accessing it through the newly installed 2024 Turbo Tax icon on my desk top. Once I did that, it brought me to a place where I could enter my TurboTax license code and proceed with starting my return without having to pay again.

As mentioned above, the license code is for TurboTax Desktop Software that you download and use on your computer, not the online version.

You can go HERE to download the TurboTax Desktop Software.  When you select the product, it will give you the option of Windows or MacOs for the operating system.  During installation, you will be asked to enter your License Code.
