When i filed for my tax returns, it said i need to pay $855. but i am a service member and this is supposed to be a free service for service members. can we fix this?

$855 cannot possibly be a TurboTax fee.  Does it show that you owe tax to the IRS or a state?  Look at your actual tax returns--or look at what it says in Tax Home or your summary.

It shows as a state taxes, im not sure how to fix this problem or who i have to talk to

Okay--state tax due is not money you are being charged by TurboTax.  That is money that is owed to your state.

Since you are in the military---not sure if you have completed the right state return or what you did--contact customer support for some help.

They are available from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific time

 

And....what state?....some states are now allowing you to delay payments of tax due until July....so if it is one of those states you have more time to sort this out.
