What happened to the 2016 tax return I was in the middle of completing? It is no longer showing up?

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Account recovery

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flashdrive.

Online preparation and e-filing for 2016 is now permanently closed.  You will need to use the desktop software to complete your 2016 return, which must then be printed, signed and mailed.
