Turbotax will not let me remove an EIN number.

Had a previous EIN number but have a sole proprietor business with no employees and want to use my social security number

Switch to the FORMS mode and delete it on the form/worksheet ... however if this is the same business you can leave the EIN even if you don't use it for anything ... the Sch C will have the SS# on it automatically so you really don't need to remove the EIN.

If you have a new business then you need to complete a new Sch C and remove the old one.

did not have a business just worked two jobs plus ssi please help don't have a business don't know much about all this cant find the forms

Have an old EIN number on previous return. Have a new business as a sole proprietor with no employees and want to use my social security number as an identifier. Tried to delete EIN number on new return, but Turbotax keeps reinstalling it.
