I have finished my return and am attempting to file the federal return electronically. When I select the Transmit return button I get an error message stating that an update is available and must be installed before filing. When I attempt to update I get a message stating that I am up to date. I have tried the following without success:
Does anyone know how to get around this problem?
This got solved. TurboTax support responded by email with contact information and an issue number. The problem was resolved after a manual update was made. The tax form transmitted successfully after the new install.
