turbo tax won't enter my w2 form

If you mean that TT won't import your W-2, then just manually fill in the boxes from your paper copy.  Not difficult, just skip import and answer that you will fill in manually.  

If TurboTax can't import your W-2 form, you'll have to enter it manually. To navigate to that section of TurboTax, see the following steps:

1. From Tax Home, open or continue your return
2. In the search bar, search for W-2
3. Select the Jump to link at the top of the search results
4. At the Let's get your W-2 info screen, select Work on my W-2 and Continue
5. If you land on the Here’s your W-2 info screen, select Add another W-2
6. When asked to enter your employer's EIN, leave this section blank and Continue
7. On the next screen, select Type it in myself and Continue
8. Follow the instructions on the next screens to manually enter your W-2 info

There's several reasons why TurboTax can't import your W-2:

• The employer's EIN (Employer Identification Number) is missing
• The Control Number (W-2, box D) is missing
• The box 1 amount is missing (try substituting the YTD or Year To Date gross federal wages amount from your final 2021 pay stub)
• Your employer's payroll service isn't a TurboTax Import Partner

Cannot get 2021turbo tax to manually enter a 2021W2 form

@Cckrohns, would you be able to please provide what error are you getting when trying to enter Form W2 Manually. @HelenC12, has posted the steps above on how to manually enter the W-2, have you tried that yet?

I have clicked on "yes" next to the company I worked for last year. When I get to the income screen, the "update" button is gray. It does not respond when I click on.  When I hit "go", it takes me to a blank screen. I have tried typing in "w-2" in the search bar and then "jump to w-2" and then it goes to a blank screen.  I tried a few days ago with the same results. I have updated my turbo tax and have rebooted my computer. 

It won't even let me enter it manually. The screen is blank

 I tried all of this. None of it worked. I am not trying to import it. I would be happy to enter it manually. The screen is blank except for headers when I try.

I am experiencing the same issue and I have done everything correctly - 2022 version

I am having the same issue! I can’t input W2 information importing or manually. The screen is completely blank. I’ve contacted support and they were no help. I was told to delete the software and redownload. I did that and it is still the same. It won’t let me edit the forms to input manually either. 

Edit to add that it is the 2022 Home & Business version

you are using a desktop version which means if you want to use it on a Mac compatible computer you must download and install the Mac version or install from CD selecting the Mac version. have issues contact support
