Used TurboTax in 2018. Working on taxes for 2019.
TurboTax says I took standard deduction in 2018. And, 2018 return has no Schedule A.
But, 1040 Line 8 is larger than $24000. Married, filing jointly.
How can this be? Confused.
Are either of you 65 or older? There is $1,300 added to the standard deduction of $24,000 for each spouse 65 or older, or legally blind.
