Should Turbotax bait me into accidentally upgrading to Live after I had almost finished my return and then prevent me from downgrading unless I start over?

Yes, if you need to downgrade to a lower-priced version of TurboTax, clearing and starting over is the only option.

WAIT...if you updated to LIVE mid-stream or late in the process and did not start out in LIVE...there is supposedly a way to remove it.
