When will this issue be resolved.

I called and waited and they hung up. While on hold i heard that this is a known issue. I need to install this on my mom's pc. Need this working. I paid for it and it has 5 licenses. I used 1! Who can help me?

Error code 605 means that the license code that you are trying to use is invalid. It is invalid because it is linked to your TurboTax account and only your account.

You can install TurboTax on up to 5 computers that you own. But you must log in to your TurboTax account in order to do so. The license is limited to the one account you used when you installed it the first time.

When I log into Intuit it shows my license file. It says I have installed it on one computer. When I open TurboTax 2024 it shows me my license file. I click on that license file and say register. I instantly get a message that says that the license file is invalid. This only happened after it did an update. I had previously run TurboTax 2024 on this computer with no issues.

Exact same thing happen to me. I went from Win 10 to Win 11 and suddenly TurboTax says invalid license. It worked last year just fine to file my 2024 taxes. I am going to buy the downloaded version 2025 anyway but it bothers me i can no longer look at my 2024 taxes. And yes I originally bought from Big Home Tax. This year I will buy from local big box store.
