It sounds like your screen may be zoomed in too much. This can cause certain areas to not display properly. Please advise what browser you are using, and we will help you zoom out.
I had the same issue. Kept prompting missing "email" in "my info" section to proceed with my review and payment. After talking to customer service with no resolve I tried adding the "Max" package for $59 more on the screen before being prompted to fix my info. This actually allowed me to proceed without getting the "enter email in my info" message that ultimately blocks you from finishing your return. Seems very strange and scammy to only allow us to move forward with a higher package and payment??
@atrain22 Did you attempt to adjust the browser zoom as suggested by @GiseleD? If you paid for a service that you did not want because of this error, please click here for instructions to contact customer care regarding a refund.
I am having the same problem. Have tried Firefox and Chrome and have zoomed out as far as possible. Still no place to enter email address in "My Info."
Do we really need to pay for a service we don't need in order to deal with this error in the software? I have tried the other suggestions (zooming out, different browsers). Super frustrating.
Please see the steps in the below TurboTax help article to assist with fixing this issue:
Same problem in 2022. You have to go to Intuit Account on the bottom left and verify your email. Once I did that I was able to proceed.
It's usually because you have to verify the email that you already have on file. in the bottom left hand corner, find "Intuit Account". Click it, go to "Sign-In and Security". Then you will see the option to verify your email address, or to enter one if you have not yet.
I was having the same problem - this solution worked for me! Thank you!
I have verified my email within intuit, fully listed my personal information, and I am still blocked by this error.
I am on the app and it keeps doing this with me too. I verified my email like it says to but it’s still giving me this problem.
I'm having the same issue, too. Verified my email address and still just going in circles. I'm going to switch browsers and see if it's still happening.
Same issue. No matter what it won’t let me move past asking for an email with no place to put one in. I even tried upgrading the service thinking it was so scam and paying for this might fix it but it doesn’t let me put in anything and it won’t let me take off the $120 service now. I’m furious.
I am having the same issue, as well. I have been sitting in front of my computer for over an hour trying to file my taxes. I have done everything suggested, including clearing my history, cache, cookies, etc. I had this same problem last year. Seeing TurboTax hasn't resolved the issue in over a year, this will be the last time that I will file with them. It is absurd that we pay around $100 to file with TurboTax and deal with it.
This has not worked. I have tried for over an hour. I've cleared my history, cookies, etc., I've made sure my email was verified with Intuit, tried a different browser....I'm concerned that I will not be able to file not only my taxes, but my son's as well.
When you get the verification email, they want you to follow the link and re-login. We had the same problem and by following the link and logging in, this issue was resolved.
You have to verify the email that you already have on file. Go to the bottom left hand corner, find "Intuit Account" and select it. Then go to "Sign-In and Security". Then you will see the option to verify your email address or to enter your email.
When you get the verification email, you need to follow the link and login again to resolve this issue.
Please see this TurboTax Help Article for more information.
I had already verified the email address, and had followed the help article, but today I went to the email again, clicked it (took me to a page that said it was already verified), went to file again and it worked. Only other change was that I was on a different wifi on a different day. So not sure what was going on but very grateful it went through!
