I have TurboTax 2021. When I selected my state, the application indicated it would update. The update hangs. I force it to close and try. Same result. Help!!

Your post indicates that you are posting from the Free Edition.   Are you using the CD/download version on your computer.  If so Mac or Windows?

I purchased Turbotax Home & Business and installed on a Windows 10 system.

 

There may have been other issues with my computer.  When I tried to uninstall Turbotax it wouldn't work either.

 

I rebooted the computer and retried updating Turbotax.  That seemed to work.

The link for "state install loop"  is for 2020.  What is the zip file for 2021?  TTstatecleanup TY 2021  I am stuck with the state loop.  I have purchased three states and cannot load any of them.

No, that is for tax year 2020.  I need for 2021.
